Review: Andrelon's new products for straight hair

In this blogpost I already introduced you to a review I would write about Andrélons new products for straight hair. Well, here it is!

I was so happy that I could review these products for straight hair because my hair isn't like most typical Asian hair (read: super straight). My hair has got actually lots of waves sometimes. Whenever I use my straightener my hair won't stay straight long enough. It would become wavy a few hours later already. Soooo I was very excited about these products and if they would actually work on my hair!

I applied the products in my hair (except for the hairspray of course lol) before using my straightener. It's a straightener that won't get very hot.

The heat protector
In my opinion this product isn't very different from the other heat protectors from Andrélon, for example the heat protector of the damage and care line. I actually don't have the feeling that this product makes my hair straighter eventhough you could expect this since it's a special heat protector for straight hair. I do believe the product protects my hair from heat, treats my hair and gives my hair optimum condition. But I don't think it's any more different than the other Andrélon heat protectors. Of course a heat protector is always usefull when using a hairdryer and/or straightener . But I don't want to recommend this specific heat protector since it's as good as other heat protectors.

Mousse
This product prevents fuzzy and static hair, protects your hair against heat and gives your dry and damaged hair more volume and care. I used this product together with the heat protector before using my straightener. My hair is never fuzzy so I can't say anything about that. But it did prevented static hair. In this cold weather it's normal that hair gets static regularly because it's cold outside and warm inside. But I didn't had this problem! I was really happy about this because I just hate static hair =.= My hair comes till my butt so it's pretty heavy, even the mousse couldn't solve the problem. Eventhough it wasn't stated on the bottle of the mousse.. It did keep my hair straight! The next morning it was still as straight as the previous day. Remember I said my hair gets wavy after a few hours already when I don't use products while straightening? Awesome right? :D My hair does get oily faster because of the mousse but that's okay with me. I don't recommend the heat protector but I do recommend the mousse since it got many functions.

Hairspray
And finally the hairspray! This product prevents static hair and provides extra reinforcement. I find the spray not too harsh and your hair won't feel sticky. I didn't need the hairspray because the mousse was enough to keep my hair straight. I do recommend this product when your hair is very stubborn.

Preview: Andrelon's new products for straight hair

Andrelon is a popular shampoo brand founded by a Dutch hair dresser and has a wide range of hair products. They have products for all hair types. Straight, curled, weak, damaged, you name it!

And guess what! I got chosen to try their new products. Two weeks ago I got these three bottles in the mail. A heat protector, mousse and hairspray for achieving straight hair!

I used to have straight hair when I was younger. But the older I got, the less straight my hair got ): I always have to fix this issue with a straightener but it never last long. So I'm really excited to review these and I'm curious of how they will work on my hair.

Review: Liese dark chocolat #2

A short review of Liese was the first blogpost I started my blog with. So that's why this is review number 2. It was more than a half year ago when I dyed my hair for the last time. I wanted to get rid of my black roots and I found my hair colour faded too much. So here is another review!

The package includes:
The hairdye (2 liquids to mix)
Instructions on how to use the hairdye in English, Chinese and Japanese
Gloves
Hair lotion for after dying and washing your hair

I used the same colour as the last time because I wanted to go for a natural colour. I didn't like how the colour faded so much lighter, it gradually became my old hair colour Liese - Marshmellow brown. But not all evenly over my whole haircut! It looked like this:

Ugly and weird looking! And I just don't know how it got like this ò___ó so it was time to dye my hair.

Before and after photos. Both made in sunlight. My hair got slightly darker. You can't see a big difference but it actually is a big difference when you look at my whole haircut.

The hairdye has a strong smell and it takes a few days before the water - you're washing your hair with - is clear. But beside that, Liese is a nice product to use.

Hair growth

Hi girls, todays blogpost will be about growing your hair. I can remember that I was very into growing my hair and I know a lot of girls wo are trying to do so too. So I thought this could be an interesting blogpost for you.

Two years ago
My hair lenght was past my boobs. I was looking for tips and products every week. I used coconut shampoo and conditioner, washed my hair with cold water, massaged my head etc. But it didn't really work for me :/ After a while I didn't bother anymore. I got tired of thinking the whole time of growing my hair while it wasn't even growing that much.

Now
After that obsessed period of growing my hair I just didn't care anymore. I still wanted my hair to be long but I didn't bother thinking about it. After those two years not bothering, my hair lenght almost reaches my butt. What I did? The only things I did in the past two years were going to the hair dresser three or four times in total and trying not to think about how I can grow my hair.

My tips for you
Now I'm pretty satisfied with my hair. It's as long as I wanted it to be. Although it doesn't feel that long for me, it feels much shoter than it actually is. But I think everyone has this feeling, it's never long enough haha. The only tip I can give you girls is to be very patient. And don't think of your hair 24/7! This won't do any good for you and your hair.

Oh, almost forgot! You can read everywhere that you have to trim your hair once a month or two. But really, don't do this unless you think your hair needs it. If your hair is healthy, it's healthy. So don't go to the hair dresser! I believed it was really necessary to trim your hair regularly so I went to the hairdresser every two months *____* Afterwards I thought it was bullshit because my hair was fine and not damaged. It can be compared to cutting your grown hair off, so the growth you have been waiting for was all gone again. Besides, some hair dressers cut hair really really really short. I'm never satisfied when I leave the hair dresser, it's always too short.

Review: Liese dark chocolat #1

Last summer I dyed my hair with Liese marshmellow brown. I was really happy with my new hair colour, but a few months ago the sun started to come out more often. Since the colour already got lighter after those months and the sun made my hair colour look a bit orange I decided to dye my hair a bit darker. I used Liese dark chocolat, which is their darkest colour. I'm very satisfied with the end result and I have to say I even had to get used to my new hair colour. It almost felt like I had black hair again haha.

As you can see, the colour is evenly everywhere. Likelike!
It's been a few months now since I dyed my hair and I feel like the colour has been fading. But it's okay cause I still like the colour.

One thing is sure: I'm a regular customer of Liese. Very recommended!
